In 1976 Gordon & Dorothy Nay opened  – Brodie Lighthouse Manly Vale starting as a small shop sharing an old car sales showroom with a furniture shop.  The first few years it became clear we had to expand, so we were able to take over the rear of the building.  Again expansion arose so when the furniture store became available we were able to extend our premises even further.  Over the years, as the business grew, Gordon and Dorothy purchased the premises.  In 1988 Marilyn, their daughter and her husband Malcolm joined the business as partners and took over the running of the store when Gordon & Dorothy retired.  To improve customer service and comfort the showroom and premises were extended, air conditioning added along with a much larger storage area to become what you is Brodie Lighthouse Manly Vale today.The business has gone from strength to strength and now is managed co-jointly by Gordon & Dot’s daughter Jenny and Marilyn & Malcolm’s daughter Cherrie.We also have an excellent staff whose experience in lighting totals over 100 years.  We have qualified electricians on staff to help with more technical questions and Peter Casey our sales manager is always happy to be of assistance.  Today we are still a family owned and run business happy to assist our customers with all their lighting needs.
